Can you use bleach in a carpet cleaner?

I have a carpet cleaner & I was wondering if instead of putting the cleaner in it to clean my bedroom carpets if I could use just bleach w/ the hott water? My carpets are almost a white color but are stained pretty bad thanx to a dog we used to have. I was wanting to clean it all & sanatize it & thought that would be a good wayy to do it.. Let me know what everyone thinks. Thanx!

I have a light tan ultra suede couchh that needs a good cleaning. Can I use a carpet cleaner on it? Does anyone know the approx dry time?
I was planning on using like a carpet cleaner machine.
If that won’t work any other suggestions?
UGH! I just started cleaning with water and dish soap on the most noticeable spots. Will it dry fine or did I just ruin my couch?

Alright. I have A Bissell, PROheat Clearview carpet cleaner. I have a leak in the house, and water has spread over the carpet. I dont want to clean it, just suck the water up. How can I get this stupid thing to suck up the water only?

my carpet is a textured industrial carpet and a regular carpet shampooer doesnt clean it well, I would like to buy a steam cleaner so I’m not paying to have it done every couple of months, which ones work the best?

We are considering buying a steam carpet cleaner instead of a vacuum, since we live in the country and our carpets get quite dirty? Does anyone know if this will work? I have read you should vacuum first and then steam clean. But we don’t want to buy both and we don’t have a lot of storage space. Thank you for any answers.

I have 2 cats and one had an accident twice. As you know its not easy to get the smell out. I did buy urine off and can hand scrub it but do you think I should just get the spotbot by bissell and pay 0 or is there a cheaper carpet cleaner that works as well. I do have some other spots I would like to clean. We are moving in the summer and the house has no carpet is why i hate to spend the money.
How do you know a carpet cleaner will agree with your carpet or not?

I always wondered about this because ever single bottle of carpet cleaner I’ve purchased says to test the product to make sure it agrees with the carpet you are using it on. How do you know the product "does not" agree with your carpet? Will there be some light fading right off the bat? You would think it would take some time before the product actually makes any significant changes to your carpet. By that time it would probably be too late.
Any way of cleaning a hallway without a carpet cleaner?

I just had my carpets cleaned and the hallway is already dirty from my coming in from skateboarding on asphalt. Any suggestions on cleaning them again by myself without hiring or renting a carpet cleaner?

My dog pooped, he must have been sick because it was a lot and diarrhea, i used a carpet cleaner but it didn’t work. Do you know any carpet cleaners that are easy fast and work well?
