How to wash out carpet cleaner from my carpet?

Hi
I spilt liquid eyeliner on my floor, so my mum didnt find out I pured on carpet cleaner, added water and scrubbed. now how do I wash out the carpet cleaner? The stain’s gone but my carpet’s all soapy. Thanks

If you have a shop vac, one that does wet and dry vacuuming then you can draw up any extra water and the soap bubbles with it.

P.S. You deserve lots of credit for trying to clean up the mess.
Keep rinsing it with clean water and pad with a dry towel until the soap is gone.
You need to use more water to get it out. The only way is with alot of water. Best if you have a carpet cleaning machine. Otherwise it will be a long job.
